If you are at that stage in your driving that your instructor is hardly helping you tackle those tricky junctions, roundabouts and reading and understanding road signs / road marking – and that you are no longer feeling stressed about driving in different situations – perhaps now is a good time to take your driving test! But wait – there are no tests available! WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
We log on to the DVSA driving test booking page and enter all your details – you enter the test centre you want – click NEXT – NO TESTS AVAILABLE in your area! Should I book a test in another area? Well, that’s up to you, but I very much doubt your instructor would take you there. It sounds harsh, but WHAT IF: there is an accident / road works / diversion on the route and you miss the test, what if you don’t understand a road junction in an area that you have never been to – you may be able to cope with it post test – but on your test and to test standard?
You are better waiting for a test in your area, so far this year there have bee 66,000 tests where the client has not turned up – a waste of test money and more important to that – a wasted test slot when they are difficult to come by….
