Mike Pennington

I started my career in service engineering. During this role in the 80’s I travelled extensively both in this country and worldwide installing and servicing equipment used in the printing and newspaper industry.
Throughout my previous career I built up a lot of driving experience and skills that I felt may benefit new drivers. This drew me to become a driving instructor in 2000. I have been teaching for 20 years and in that time I have developed tips and techniques to help new drivers overcome many of the difficulties and worries faced when learning to drive.
I enjoy meeting new pupils and watching them develop the skills needed for safe driving. Best of all it’s always nice when a pupil passes their test.
